The straight abutment
Implant/abutment link is realized as a functional unit. A narrow tunnel (0,9mm) drills the 2 ends of the abutment. It is threaded at the level of the stump, in its superior part. It allows the blade locking to connect the abutment to the implant or to separate one from the other. This expansion rod enables the movement of the 4 blades in expansion or shrinkage.
According to its one-piece feature, the abutment withstands to the fracture risks due to laterality strengths.
There are 2 kinds of abutments:
1. The straight abutment
2. The angulated abutment
